You’ve planned for a long time and now you’re ready to go on your honeymoon vacation. Hawaii, Italy, Aruba, St. Thomas… wherever you’ve chosen to go get ready for a trip you’ll remember forever.
Hawaii offers an outstanding mix of tropical island and modern luxury. Far out in the Pacific it provides endless vistas and perpetual ocean breezes. As a populous state and popular destination it offers every amenity known to man and woman.
Europe is more some couples’ style. Excellent choice! Ancient castles, romantic wineries and so much more. Want a sunny beach and endless nightlife? Nice in France is just waiting for you. Want to visit all those places you’ve read about your whole life? Paris is ready to accommodate your every romantic dream. Go to Scotland and see the place your ancestors were born.
The U.S. has equally exciting honeymoon destinations to offer newlyweds, or those taking their long-delayed special vacation.
Las Vegas is the honeymoon capital of the country. Here you can find everything from a Justice of the Peace dressed as Elvis to the elegant and world-class Bellagio Hotel. Walk down The Strip and laugh at all the colorful characters. Golf at one of the world’s best courses. Take a drive along the romantic desert highway and watch the sun set together.
Florida has some of the best resorts in the world. You can enjoy the bustle of Miami or get away from everything in the famed laid-back Florida Keys. Hop on one of Disney’s world-class ships for a cruise up the coast to Boston or down to the Caribbean.
But, the Caribbean is a big place. It might be nearby Bahamas, only 50 miles off the tip of the southernmost state. Or, it could be Jamaica and world renowned Montego Bay that offers services that would satisfy even James Bond. It might be Antigua or the Virgin Islands, St. Barts or St. Lucia. Barbados is still the exotic locale for which it became famous generations ago.
But where to go is one thing. How is another.
You can opt for a honeymoon package that includes hotel, flight, cruise and much more. Combination deals offer transportation, accommodations and activities all in one. Stay at the Ritz and enjoy their golf course as part of the price. Pick a resort in Cancun and be pampered at the spa for no extra fee.
All inclusive honeymoon deals include even more. Want to concentrate on each other instead of the waiter’s tip? Get an all inclusive arrangement and everything is paid for at once. Don’t worry about meals or moonlit rides, kayaking or cocktails. It’s all included for one price.
One way to get someone else to pick up part of the tab is to sign up at a Honeymoon Registry. Friends and loved ones can buy a hot air balloon ride, a week long stay at a Venice hotel, or a cruise up the canals through Germany.
But the most important thing is to enjoy! Pick an atmosphere you both want, then settle on a destination (or several!) that meets your needs. Spin the globe and put down a finger. You’ll find just what you’re looking for anywhere you want to go.

Nothing is more romantic than setting out on the seas in a cruise ship. The ocean breezes, the setting sun and the endless vistas naturally bring love to mind. Luckily for those looking for honeymoon cruises, there are an endless array of choices.
For a shorter cruise, honeymoon couples could do no better than one of Disney’s many offerings. Starting from Walt Disney World in Florida, cruisers are transported to Port Canaveral less than an hour away. From there they board the Disney Wonder for a two day-three night cruise to Disney’s own island retreat in Nassau, Bahamas.
Once there, Castaway Cay offers everything honeymooners could want. Beautiful beaches, tropical breezes and endless opportunities to build memories for a lifetime.
For those looking to get far away, the Greek Islands have been welcoming honeymoon lovers for generations. Board one of Windstar Cruise Lines ships and be transported to Mykonos. Sail around the Mediterranean and forget about the world you left. You two are in a world of your own.
Stops can include Monte Carlo where you can enjoy the nightlife and do a little gambling. Or you can get off at the Riviera and laze out on the beach. Head over to Nice and enjoy one of Europe’s most popular honeymoon destinations. On the smaller ships there are fewer than 200 passengers, so you can enjoy cruising in a different way from the mega-ships.
If mega-ships are your style, Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines has a voyage just right for you. Carrying over 3,000 passengers from San Juan, stops include St. Thomas, Auruba, Antigua and other favorite destinations of honeymooners around the world.
Their Adventure of the Seas cruise takes off every Sunday year round. On the trip you can work up an appetite by trying the onboard rock climbing wall or in the ice skating rink. Then relax with one of their 4-star meals in any of a dozen restaurants on the ship.
Nothing beats a Hawaiian honeymoon that includes a tour of this island chain. Norwegian Cruise Lines has regular cruises to meet every taste and budget. Ships take off from Hawaii, Oahu, Maui and the rest. See Kona on the big island, then shoot over to tiny Kauai for lunch.
You’ll have plenty of time to explore, then hop on board for a short trip to one of the tiny volcanic islands to enjoy lava crusted beaches. No need to book a hotel, since you can stay onboard and have all meals included if you want.
If Polynesia is your idea of a romantic honeymoon destination, and who could disagree, hop aboard the Radisson Seven Seas Paul Gauguin to Tahiti. See Bora Bora by day or night. Enjoy the spectacular sunrise in Papeete then explore the coral atolls of Taha later in the day.
Go scuba diving in some of the world’s most exotic waters, teeming with tropical underwater species. You won’t be crowded since the ship hosts only about 300 guests. That will make it all the easier to enjoy one of the meals from their world-class chefs.
Choose your starting point and final destination and you’ll find honeymoon cruises that are well tailored to you.

They had registered on Saturday and they had not been seen for 5 days. An elderly couple ran the resort, and they were getting concerned about the welfare of these newlyweds.
The old man decided to go and see if they were all right. He knocked on the door of the cabin and a weak voice from inside answered. The old man asked if they were OK.
"Yes, we’re fine. We’re living on the fruits of love".
The old man replied, "I thought so…would you mind not throwing the peelings out the window…they’re choking my ducks!"

Just about every couple in the world manages to get into a rut every now and again. The spice goes out of life just a little and the touch that once set you on fire seems to only ignite sparks.
How can you get rid of the lost-the-passion blues and rekindle the heat that not too long ago could set forests ablaze?
Try booking a night, a weekend or even a full week in a romantic getaway! As long as those “sparks” are there, a little time away just might be the ticket to create a full-blown, three-alarm fire.
There are some great ideas for romantic getaways that run the gamut as far as pricing is concerned. Passion on a budget is as doable as it is when no expense is spared!
Have a blast with these new ideas:
Booking the “honeymoon” suite at a favorite hotel or resort. There’s nothing that says newlyweds have a corner on the romance market.
Going for a romantic drive in the country and staying a night (or three) at a quaint bed and breakfast.
Taking a cruise to an exotic destination. There’s nothing like moonlight dancing on the water to get the romance back where it belongs in your life!
Renting a cabin in the mountains. Be sure there’s a romantic fireplace included! Getting away where phones, computers and other distractions are not present can be just the ticket for fanning the flames.
Booking a trip to a destination you’ve both dreamed of going to. From Paris and London to San Francisco and beyond, if it’s on your dream “to do” list as a couple, it fits the bill.
If kids are a concern, and money is too, send the little ones off to a friend’s, the grandparents’ or a sitter’s for the night. Turn your home into paradise central by greeting your lover at the door with a smile and a rose. Have a candlelight dinner for two waiting, and make sure the mood has been set in the bedroom, as well.
If you’re married, consider booking the room or suite you stayed in on your honeymoon (if it’s possible). A return trip might help you rediscover that misplaced passion.
Camping out under the stars (with a tent for privacy later) can be just the thing to put romance back in your lives. Just the two of you, a roaring fire, a bottle of wine or champagne and the starlit sky can work wonders.
Couples get into romance ruts. It’s a fact of life. Whether it’s work, kids, the stress of daily living or all of these things that get in the way, the only thing stopping you from rekindling some passion if the sparks are still there is you!
Be creative. Have a little fun. Get away from it all and find each other again!

I am on my honeymoon but will be leaving Charleston, SC tomorrow and we have no idea where we are going. We would like to rent a cabin but have really only found some in North Georgia which is pretty far. We were looking for something that is on the way back to Jacksonville, FL.
Anyways ideas??
Sesquicentennial State Park, Columbia, SC. Personally have not camped there before but my friends tell me its good. I live right on it, and it has nice cabins i good shape. There are also good parks in florida.
