There’s a reason that Hawaii often tops the list of honeymoon destinations. Many, rightly so, see it as the very model of a romantic spot to spend those few days or weeks celebrating a new marriage. Its relaxing and couple-friendly atmosphere is the perfect spot for newlyweds.
A Hawaii honeymoon has it all: tropical breezes, glorious sunsets, gorgeous hotels and the everpresent sea. It’s exotic, always a good element in a honeymoon destination. But, as part of the U.S., it’s also a known quantity, safe and easy to reach with little chance of things going wrong.
Hotels and cruise ships cater to the Hawaii honeymooners with their best packages. They know the happy couple will spend a little more to get a cottage or room that suits their mood. The couple will delight in the amenities offered. Everybody wins!
Whether the stay is a few days or a few weeks, there are options available in all price ranges. For a stay of a few days, airlines will often offer special fares for those who book well in advance. For those who have the time, cruise ships offer special honeymoon packages to accommodate newlyweds on a budget.
Hotels offer similar arrangements. But at the same time, like the cruise ships, they don’t skimp on the value. They know that couples will tell their friends. So, they roll out the red carpet for those who come to Hawaii, whether their accommodation is the smaller budget room or the high-end luxury suite.
Beyond the travel and room arrangements, Hawaii honeymoon packages offer many additional worthwhile amenities.
Some couples will want nothing more than to hold hands on the beach or spend intimate hours in their room. Privacy is always provided to guests. But many will want to get out and explore, to expand their list of memories to take back home.
Bicycles, motorbikes and small self-directed boat trips are often part of the deal. Short, small-ship cruises around the islands are another popular offering. But there’s more.
Hawaiian honeymoon packages often include knowledgeable and friendly guides. Those employees may serve as the lead on a climbing trip up one of the famed lava laden mountains. Or, they may offer interesting bits of local lore while showing the couple around a lush tropical forest.
Guides can do more than just offer information, though. They can instruct. Part of your Hawaii honeymoon may involve learning a new skill – bungee jumping, kayaking and others. Expert instructors will show you how to safely indulge your passion for adventure on a trip dedicated to passion.
Your Hawaii honeymoon may be focused on the main island of Hawaii. Or, it can involve a stay or a short side trip to Maui, Oahu or any of the islands making up this state. Whatever your preference, there’s a honeymoon package that will provide the perfect options in this perfect destination. Since it’s your honeymoon, would you settle for anything less?

We are going to Disney World for our Honeymoon in September. Does anyone have any tips to make it romantic?
We are considering Disney World as a honeymoon location and have been twice together so far. LeCellier is a favorite restaurant. You might try an illuminations cruise. A couples massage, Victoria & Alberts is supposed to be great… and the Chefs table would be super-romantic. Be certain to get your reservations for any of these as soon as you are allowed. We are considering going to Phuket for our Honeymoon in September 2008. We will be there for the first two weeks of September. I heard that is the rainiest month of year. I am wondering if the rain just lasts for a few minutes and then stops going back to sunny weather or if the rain is heavy and lasts for hours or days. I am also wondering if there is guaranteed rain every day. Thank you.
It really is the wrong time to be going to phuket. It could be dry, but really your looking at rain and lots of it.
I worked as a Travel agent, then a tour operator, and have booked many honeymoons. This is one holiday you dont want to make a mess of.
If you insist on travelling to Thailand the other side of the peninsular, Koh Samui, Phangnan, Tao the weather is slightly better in September, the rain usally comes a come of months after the west coast. Koh Tao being a very small island, has the best of it, the rain clouds normally past by, Koh Samui being larger, and hillier, the clouds form and a it rains. Mainly isolated rain, a few hours sometimes just at night, which keeps the humidity down.
Samui is a lovely island, with hotels and facilitys to compare to Phuket so it would make a better option.
Good luck with your decition, if you need some recomendations on rsorts or hotels, please ask again…

Hi we are getting married on 22 September and looking for an amazing honeymoon destination – can anyone recommend somewhere hot, with beach for us? I can only seem to find Saudi Arabia and Egypt with good climates
Actually that’s a great time of year and you have plenty of choice, but it depends on how far you wish to travel? I like your idea of Egypt, not sure about Saudi for a honeymoon though (!?!) Some suggestions are:
UAE – staying in Dubai/Jumeirah beach area
The Maldives
Hawaii
West coast of USA
Singapore – does have few beaches, but lots of other things to do too, but how about combining it with a 2 centre with Penang in Malaysia?
Australia (their spring-time)
Netherland Antilles islands in the Caribbean (they seem to be out of the Hurricane belt)
Mauritius
Seychelles
Hope that helps you

You can read all about Barcelona in history books, since this city has been around since Roam times. No, we are not going to give you a history of Barcelona, but rather tell you about the best ways into and around the city, as well as all of the wonderful sites to see in this vibrant city. Guell Park, the Water Parks and more will tempt you but there is so much more to see in Barcelona that you will need to come back time and again.
For a truly emotional experience, visit the Picasso Museum. This museum is situated in five medieval palaces, each of them crammed with the works of this prolific artist, in his various stages. By viewing the exhibits in the Picasso museum, you will follow his career from his birthplace of Malaga, to his years in Paris, to his Moscow period, in which he portrayed the Russian Ballet in all of its beauty, and back to Barcelona, where he settled once again in Spain. The Picasso Museum has everything to recommend it, from reasonable entrance fees, to convenient visiting hours, to easy access by public transportation, and finally a central location in the Ciutat Vella (Beautiful City).
The Ciutat Vella is the original Barcelona and remained little changed until the 14th Century. The original neighborhoods of the Ciutat Vella are the Gothic area, La Ribera, Las Ramblas (a promenade filled with flowers) and the Raval. Finding your way around Ciutat Vella is very easy since there are four famous landmarks that lead you into this area. Using Catalunya Square as a starting point, head straight down Las Ramblas to the Christopher Columbus Monument. This towering edifice is at the end of the city, at the port. If you head north, toward Olympic Port, you will enter Ciutat Park. Look to your left and you will see the majestic Arc of Triumph, a few blocks away. You are now enclosed in a small section of antique cobblestone streets and charming shops, like a medieval time warp.
Whether you are an avid football (soccer) fan or not, you will want to take in one of the exciting games played by the Barcelona home team, Barca. JUst stop at the Nou Camp football stadium and you can get your tickets, if you are visiting Barcelona during the football season, between September and May. In a winning season like this year’s in which Fran Rikard brought his team to a Spanish football league championship, there will be non-stop celebrating and souvenirs to commemorate.
The beaches of the Costa Brava and the Costa Dorada in this area are beautifully maintained and cater to the tourists they draw. Whether closer to the city, or on the outskirts, you can find wonderful accomodations for every taste and pocketbook. Hotel choices range from youth hostels through to five star hotels. In between, you have a choice of bed and breakfasts, and more modest hotels such as two, three and four star hotels. In addition, you could also choose to stay in a vacation chalet, or a rented apartment or home.
Whether you choose a quick weekend to relax, a romantic honeymoon destination, an extended family holiday or a business trip, you will find many ways to enjoy yourself in Barcelona.

My fiancee and I are considering Hawaii for our upcoming Honeymoon in September. Where should we go? As it’s our honeymoon, we’d like to go to a place that’s relaxing, quiet, and NICE. Thanks!
Maui is a lot less crowded than Oahu (Honolulu), but it still has plenty to see and do (more so than Kauai or Big Island of Hawaii). So I suggest Maui.
If you can afford a luxury hotel, the ultimate (but extremely expensive) for pampering service is the Four Seasons. The Grand Wailea is more elaborate, but too crowded with kids and families for a quiet honeymoon. For something a little less expensive, but still luxuious and wonderful, my favorite is the Hyatt on Kaanapali Beach.
All of the above and many other Maui hotels are reviewed, with photos of their pools, beaches, buildings, and rooms, on the Hotels-Condos section of

The rich 2% of the world’s population own half of the worlds wealth. North America, Europe, and high income Asia-Pacific countries have 90% of global assets!! Believe it or not. This is all explained on a web site called www.whatbigboyswant.com. The site claims that if you are not in the top 1% of income earners, you cant afford to even look at the site!!. This site is not just at look at the rich, but at the super rich.
But it does give some tips on what the top 1% are living like. Firstly the site is targeted at a purely male audience. A quick look at the Forbes Rich List and you soon see that the fairer sex do not feature prominently in the wealth stakes. So what do big boys really want? It seems they prefer yachts to blondes with a starting price at $112 million (not the blonde although they can be expensive to) for the 269-foot Oceanco 702 with exterior and interior design which includes six staterooms and suites for a dozen guests, plus space for 28 crew members. Twin 4,680-hp MTU diesels will push it along for 5,500 nautical miles at 14 knots and take it up to around 19 knots in a hurry. You can work your way down the list and get a yacht for a steal of a mere $20 million.
Next on the list are fast and expensive cars; the traditional big boys toy. Buy a Bugatti Veyron at a mere $1,700,000. The Bugatti Veyron is the most powerful, most expensive, and fastest street-legal production car in the world, with a proven top speed of over 400 km/h (407 km/h or 253 mph). It reached full production in September 2005. The car is built by Volkswagen AG subsidiary Bugatti Automobiles SAS and is sold under the legendary Bugatti marque. It is named after racing driver Pierre Veyron, who won the 24 hours of Le Mans in 1939 while racing for the original Bugatti firm. The Veyron features a W16 engine-16 cylinders in 4 banks of 4 cylinders.
You can savor your car with some fine wine at a mere $1540 per bottle; A Dom. Romane Conti 1997. This French red Burgundy smells of berries, spices and leather. Dark in color, it hints at flavors of soy sauce, flowers and licorice. The aroma is rich and penetrating without being too profound. The Romane Conti is a rare wine that has carved a niche for itself along the years. At over fifteen hundred dollars a bottle, it no longer has anything to prove.
If you do choose to get married to that platinum blonde, you can do so in style with a diamond wedding cake at $20 million and a weeding present of a $6.5 million diamond bra from Victoria’s Secret, take the wedding photos with a gold plated ASHI Pentax, watch the TV on the honeymoon (yeah right!!) with a diamond studded TV and listen to music with your 18 carat gold plated MP3 player.
Who said money can’t buy you happiness.
