Many honeymoon couples are happy to stay in one area where they’ll find all the things they want. For them, honeymoon resorts are the perfect option. Resorts provide excellent accommodations, fine restaurants and exciting entertainment all ‘under one roof’, figuratively speaking.
Florida
Florida provides many honeymoon resorts to choose from. One of America’s premier playgrounds, and always in the top honeymoon destination list, this state has it all. Resorts may be located in busy Miami, or the laid back Florida Keys. Whatever your preference, you can’t go wrong.
The Ritz-Carlton in Key Biscayne, for example, offers attentive staff, water sports and a 20,000 square foot spa with an ocean view. Guests can play tennis then relax in one of the 21 treatment rooms and be pampered for hours. If you just can’t get away from the computer or Internet on your honeymoon, they have technical staff ready to fix any problem you have.
It’s located only a half hour from Miami International Airport and the weather is great year round.
Maybe you have your heart set on getting far away to some exotic locale. Snap your fingers and you’re there.
Jamaica
Ocho Rios is one of the top honeymoon spots in the world. It provides an excellent combination of natural sights and modern convenience.
Sandals’ Grande Ocho Rios offers everything honeymoon couples could want in one resort package. With 95 pools you’ll never be crowded or lack choices. If you prefer the ocean, there are two beaches that are part of the property. Wander through the lush tropical gardens or play some golf.
For a real treat, go swimming at River Falls where the waters are populated by dolphins. Take a look up and you’ll find the spectacular St. Ann Mountains. Look down and you’re facing the Caribbean Sea. Paradise!
Mexico
Maybe you’d prefer to head down Mexico way. Cancun is the place to go. Always highly rated by honeymoon couples who have actually been there, it offers many resorts with every thing under the sun.
Dreams Cancun Resort lives up to its name. Want to enjoy tropical breezes while you investigate the Mayan ruins? You’ve got it. Take a swim in the lagoon then relax in the world-class spa and be pampered the way you deserve.
This private resort offers shopping, dining and entertainment galore. No need to go anywhere else. But if you choose to there’s plenty to enjoy. Snorkeling in the coral reefs is popular. Later you can enjoy the scenic views from your private terrace.
If you’re looking for an all inclusive honeymoon spot that offers everything, there are honeymoon resorts all over the world to choose from. Choose the type of honeymoon atmosphere you want and you’ll easily find a destination to match.

Where to go? Where to go? Where to go on your honeymoon…. Isn’t that the question running around in your mind? Budget, time and a thousand different choices – not to mention different tastes between husband and wife – all make the decision hard. Fortunately, you can hardly go wrong. There are dozens of affordable honeymoon vacations for every country, activity or style you can imagine.
Aruba
Aruba remains one of the top honeymoon destinations around, year after year. This island 15 miles off the coast of Venezuela remains warm and sunny all year. It’s only a few hours by plane from New York and many cruise ships make it a stop along the way to other ports of call.
Miles of white sandy beaches offer the chance to laze around and soak up the sun. Or, you can set off on a romantic horseback ride you’ll remember for a lifetime. Take a boat tour of the surrounding waters and marvel at all the undersea life you’ll see from your glass-bottomed transport.
Costa Rica
Costa Rica continues to rank high among newlyweds seeking a honeymoon vacation spot. This country in Central America squeezed between Panama and Nicaragua offers lush mountains with breathtaking waterfalls. Honeymooners can go whitewater rafting or visit the Irazu volcano. Scuba dive in the morning then have lunch and go out for kayaking later in the day. Visit Makanda By the Sea and enjoy the rainforest gardens set high above the Costa Rican coastline.
Maybe you like sun, but want something with a little more evidence of civilization. Easy…
Italy
Italy offers a huge variety of options to explore. The Italian Alps provides skiing and breathtaking natural views from the chalet. Or, tour Turin and see some of the sights that have thrilled honeymoon couples for nearly 2,000 years.
You and your new spouse might enjoy a little museum hopping. Visit the Egyptian Museum or the Agnelli Picture Gallery. Do a little shopping then settle down in an outdoor cafe and hold hands while you watch the world walk by.
England
Don’t neglect to consider England, either. It may not be the first place that pops to mind when considering romantic honeymoon vacations. But it should be. After all courtly love was popular here centuries ago and has never faded.
Take a tour of Leeds Castle in Maidstone, Kent and see where real courtly love was practiced. You’ll come away knowing why it’s called the loveliest castle in the world. Vacation packages include tours of the rolling green countryside and many other extras.
If you prefer the sea, check out the Isle of Wight. Honeymoon packages include sailing, powerboat racing and other water-oriented activities. Check out some of the famed churches by day then visit a nightclub that evening. Where else can you get the sacred and the sexy in one honeymoon spot?
Whatever type of honeymoon vacation you seek, there are spots around the world that offer affordable packages.

There’s nothing better than a honeymoon in some far off place. Get away from the familiar and find a destination that offers memories for a lifetime. But, when you get there, you need someplace to stay, right? Here are some of the top-rated honeymoon hotels around the globe.
The U.S. has several of the best places to stay, which shouldn’t be surprising given how many 4-star hotels it hosts. A few offer honeymoon packages that can serve any budget.
The Setai in Miami, Florida offers a hot, steamy honeymoon place to stay. The room decor offers dark granite and sensual teak, with silk bedspreads. Enjoy the spa, patterned after those in Bali.
Prefer something farther west? No problem. Stay at The Resort at Paws Up. This Rocky Mountain retreat offers a traditional farmhouse setting and plenty of barbecue. Enjoy some horseback riding then relax with an Apr?s Adventure massage.
Maybe you like the outdoors, but want to get even farther away. British Columbia offers beautiful mountains, dense forests and the entire outdoors feel. The King Pacific Lodge allows you to pass the time fly-fishing or just cuddled up in front of the cozy fireplace. Located on Princess Royal Island, you’ll have lots of privacy while you enjoy the view of the glaciers.
Perhaps you’re determined to get far, far away. Excellent idea!
How about a trip to Bhutan where you can enjoy your honeymoon in the Paro in Amankora Paro? Breathtaking views of the Himalayas and no crowds make for a delightful stay. Enjoy your own buhkari stove in the room while you relish the isolation. A perfect spot to be alone.
A bit too far, for some? Maybe a little too slow for others? Fine, go to Paris and stay at the Hôtel du Petit Moulin. You’ll find everything from 17th century architecture to Chagall paintings. Definitely for those looking for a unique experience in a metropolitan setting.
But you can ‘go French’ without going to France. French Polynesia has long been one of the world’s most popular honeymoon destinations. Taha’s Island is near Bora Bora and can only be reached by boat or helicopter, so you’ll have plenty of privacy. Enjoy a private bungalow and walk along one of the most romantic beaches in the world.
Baja, too, remains near the top of the list for honeymoon destinations. If that’s where you want to head, you can do no better than to stay at The Esperanza. Luxury suites are decorated with handcrafted furniture. Each has a private terrace with a view of the Sea of Cortez. Relax in the spa. Watch the sun go down on the beautiful Mexican coast. Or, make up a picnic basket and head out to a nearby isolated beach.
There are a hundred superb honeymoon hotels around the world that cater to newlyweds. Whether you want mountain air, metropolitan excitement or a relaxing stay on the beach you’ll easily find a honeymoon hotel just right for you.

my fiance and i are looking for somewhere to go for our honeymoon. however, we don’t want to do the whole all inclusive, or hotel in general kind of thing. were looking to rent a private home with a private pool. and we mean private as in, for us to use only, and that no one can see the pool off the houses property. (were pretty conservative) were also looking for something no more then $1,5000 for the week. flying from new york. we want it to be close to beaches, and some sightseeing and activities in the area are a huge plus also.
help?! what would be our best bet?
thanks
sorry i meant $1,500 a week. hahaha.
also, planning on either september or october.
You may try Andaman Nichobar islands. No direct connection from International Airport.
You have to take a flight from Chennai India, or Kolkatta. Avoid rainy season.

I’m planning a honeymoon in May for 8-10 days to two of these three islands(still not decided): Oahu, Maui, Kauai. What is the best way to plan this trip? Should I go through some travel agency or plan the trip details myself (booking flight, hotel, rental car etc.) ? What’s best in terms of affordability and enjoyment? If planning on my own is better then what are some good resources?
I prefer Kauai and Maui. Oahu is very busy. Below are some resources that I have used in the past.

If you plan on taking a vacation to Hawaii, have you considered condo rentals or vacation rentals instead of paying high prices for the impersonal sterile atmosphere that most hotels have? Using vacation rentals, including condo rentals, for your Hawaiian vacation just makes sense when you examine all the aspects and benefits. You will get more privacy, personal surroundings, all the amenities as home, and much more. Plus the added benefit of all this situated right in the heart of a tropical paradise.
The Hawaii islands are one of the most exquisite vacation spots in the entire world, and a vacation here is a dream come true for many. Staying in a hotel may seem convenient, but when you look at all of the facts it is not. There are neighbors right on the other side of what may be a paper thin wall, so anything you say or do may be overheard. A motel room is small, and usually only contains a bed or two, maybe a small table and a couple of chairs, and a dresser and television if you are lucky. A suite price will depend on the specific hotel, but these may cost hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars a night. In comparison, condo rentals and vacation rentals allow you to have an entire condo or home at your disposal for a lot less.
A vacation rental can offer seclusion and privacy that you just can not get at almost any hotel. This is great for anyone on vacation, and especially couples on a romantic getaway or honeymoon. What better way to enjoy the glorious Hawaiian sunset or sunrise than from the balcony of your very own condo rental, with all the privacy and quiet that you could ask for? A vacation is a time of relaxation, and this can be hard to do when the couple in the next room over is having a screaming fight, or the guy across the hall is drunk and you can hear him getting sick. These things can ruin a vacation, and your mood. Instead find a great place using condo rentals and vacation rentals. You are sure to get a vacation experience that you enjoy, one that is unforgettable.
Condo rentals and vacation rentals in Hawaii can be found almost everywhere on all the islands. Whether you want to be near the ocean, see the Kilauea volcano from your rental residence, or just have a secluded home or apartment where you will not be bothered during your vacation, you can find it on these tropical islands. Enjoy the lush tropical foliage, the exquisite wildlife and marine animals, and all the beauty you can take on your visit to the islands. Hawaii is a paradise, and finding great condo rentals and vacation rentals can help you relax and enjoy your vacation even more, without any problems or distractions. Renting a home or condo for your Hawaii vacation makes much better sense than staying in a hotel, for many reasons including a lower cost and more privacy.
