Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort & Spa, or Waikoloa Village?

Posted by admin on 17th, 2010

I am planning my honeymoon for Dec. 3, but I can´t choose between the Hilton Hawaiian Village Resort & Spa or the Hilton Waikoloa Village. These are my only 2 options available. If you have been to any or both, please help me! Thanks!
I also need to know which one has the nicest beach, and which one has more bars or clubs. Thanks!

Take a look! Here is a map of the Hilton Hawaiian Village in Waikiki:

http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&z=16&ll=21.283236,-157.835512&spn=0.015156,0.0159&t=h&om=1

The resort is located to the right of the Kahanamoku Lagoon and bordered by Ala Moana Blvd, Kalia Rd. and Paoa Pl.

Ft. De Russy not only surrounds you in (very rare) open space, but, also isolates you from Waikiki propper. The nearby boat harbor is very scenic, but adds less to your experience than most other harbors. You can see a large, sandy beach making the nearby Ala Moana beach and the rest of Waikiki beach redundant. You are located in the city, with all that implies.

Here is a map of the Hilton Waikoloa Village:

http://maps.google.com/?ie=UTF8&z=15&ll=19.922278,-155.879087&spn=0.030583,0.0318&t=h&om=1

The resort surrounds Waiulua Bay. Zoom in, and you can make out four large buildings, parking, tennis courts and pools. Many, many condos are built around the golf courses, adding nothing to your Honeymoon. The nearest "real" swimming beach is a half mile away at Anaehoomalu Bay near the Kuualii fishpond. Zoom out. Zoom out again. The nearest life outside a resort area is six miles uphill at the Waikoloa village where you can find a few restaurants and a grocery store. Waikoloa also offers swimming with dolphins, "water taxis," and a monorail.

Aloha!

My fiancee and I are planning our honeymoon…we were looking at the Grand Hyatt Kauai Resort and Spa…?

Posted by admin on 10th, 2010

in Kuai…the only thing is that Frommers warns that the water there is not really easy to swim in. Is there a place of this quality class and service but also where the beach and water are calm? It doesn’t even have to be Hawaii…just NOT Mexico…

Why not Maui, Kaanapali Beach? I stayed at the Westin – it was very nice, close to Whaler’s Village. The beach is long and easy to swim in. Maui is very beautiful in its own way (though Kauai is very nice too). There are a lot of resorts to look at in this area.

Well, you have decided to make your vacation in Kerala – one of the most charming and captivating states of India. Kerala, globally famous tourism destination, deserve the attentions of tourists from each corner of the world. Tourists come here to enjoy their vacation on breathtakingly beach and backwater destinations. Kovalam and Varkala are world wide beach destinations of Kerala, better known as God’s Own Country.

For most fascinating experience of Kerala tours, explore its backwater destinations like Alleppey, Kumarakom, Kuttanad, Kollam, Thiruvallam, Trivandrum, etc. Surly exploring backwater destinations of the state would be a delightful experience of lifetime. Blessed with exceptional nature beauty, these destinations are very popular among nature lovers and honeymoon couples. For couples these destinations are like paradise as they find truly delightful and romantic ambiance for their most awaited romantic honeymoon vacation in Kerala, God’s Own Country.

Backwater tourism in the state is booming by lips and bounds. It has been pivotal part of Kerala tourism. Backwater destinations of the state are also very famous for ayurvedic resorts and spa centre. At Alleppey and Kumarakom there are several ayurvedic resorts offering excellent accommodation as well as ayurvedic treatments and therapies. Due to superb nature beauty with several ayurvedic resorts & spa centres, backwater destinations of the state have become also famous destinations of health & medical tourism in India.

The most preferred ways to explore scenic backwaters and backwater destinations of the state are certainly houseboats – traditionally known as the Kettuvallams. Now let me describe something about house boats. The interesting thing about house boats are they are made of wood and no a single nail is used. They are floating accommodation on winding network of scenic water bodies offering facilities like luxurious and star hotels. They have luxurious bedrooms with attached bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen with personal chef, sun deck, dining space, etc. The views from the windows of bedroom onboard house boat are mind-blowing, superb, and fantastic.

A well-organized house boat cruise provides wonderful opportunities to glide along zigzag network of breathtakingly beautiful backwaters and experience the unique world of water & serenity and feel the numerous charms of nature beauty by close – truly delight for visitors’ eyes. Tourists get opportunities to spot water birds and several aquatic creatures in and alongside backwaters. They spot colorful butterflies quivering over water flowers. They spot swiftly swimming silver fishes and wobbling waterfowls. You can too enjoy on your Kerala houseboat tours.

Well, embark on a well organized kerala houseboat cruise and get ready to treasure copious charms. Sail along scenic winding waterways. Watch in bewilderment the dancing net-like patterns on the gleaming and waving backwaters formed by sunrays that filter through the thick plant life on the shorelines.

Pay attention to the comforting sound of water waving alongside your boat cruise, as you waft your boat craft cruise on the science and serene waterways of the state. Feel totally comfortable as you enter into the unique world of tranquility and extraordinary natural beauty. See the views bright green paddy fields, swaying palm trees and capture the sight of children playing with the waves on the shorelines as you glide your boat cruise. Alleppey, Kumarakom and Fort Kochi can be your destination of your choice to enjoy your house boat tours in Kerala. Alleppey houseboats are very popular among tourists. Well, experience an unforgettable journey along the tranquil backwaters of God’s Own Country.

What is the most luxurious place to spend a honeymoon in Fiji at any price?

Posted by admin on 3rd, 2010

I am looking for a small (under 20 rooms/bures/units) resort in Fiji that offers white sand beaches, excellent snorkeling, gourmet food, spa services (massages at a minimum), excursions, and good service. Heated plunge pools would be a bonus. I have found plenty of resorts, but none that seem to meet all of these requirements.

What do you recommend for a honeymoon to Maui?

Posted by admin on 26th, 2010

My fiance and I are going to Oahu for two nights, and then on to Maui for a week to 12 days (we haven’t decided yet). Neither of us have ever been there. Any recommendations you could give about travel books, places to see, stay, or things to do would be greatly appreciated. We were thinking about staying at either the Sheraton Maui Resort, or the Westin Maui Resort & Spa. Of course, we are open to suggestions. Thanks so much!

That can get pretty pricey if you’re there for that long. If you book through a corporate travel broker you can save TONS & stay at high quality hotels like Outrigger & Diamond Hotels & many more.

We just used an 8 day package from this broker & stayed at a 5 star beachfront condo resort in Maui which was gorgeous! We spoke to other couples who paid $350 per night at the same resort – we only paid $499 for all 8 days!

I HIGHLY recommend this site for super deals, plus they also offer Fun Passes for Oahu AND Maui which will let you do every attraction & special tour on the island for FREE! I included the links for all of these below, good luck!

Any ideas on where to go for a relaxing and cheap honeymoon?

Posted by admin on 4th, 2010

I don’t want to spend more than $1000. Really would like to have spa with massage and pool. We don’t want to go out of the states. We live in Chicago. Also we are only 24 so we wouldn’t qualify so some specials. Please includes websites if u have any. Thanks so much.

I’d suggest the Wisconsin Dells. It’s only about 2.5 hrs from Chicago. You could find a wonderful hotel with spa and pool.

Wisconsin Dells is the waterpark capitol of the world, so you’ll be able to find both indoor and outdoor waterparks. There are also about 7 different spas in the Dells.
